Lynn passed away unexpectedly on December 13, 2025 at the age of 70.

She is survived by her mother, Akimi and brother Steve (Carol).

She is preceded in death by her father, Kenji.

Lynn worked for most of her career as an accountant for the same company under many names (including Western Life, Fortis, and finally Assurant) due to various acquisitions and mergers. She was known for her hard work and attention to detail.

Lynn was active in her community, participating in local Japanese dance groups. She helped lead one dance group and helped found a local Taiko group (Kogen Taiko). Lynn also served as the treasurer of her church, the Twin Cities Buddhist Association. She played in a recorder group and volunteered at a library after she retired.

She will be remembered as a loving daughter and good friend to many people.

Lynn was limited in the last few years by some long-term medical issues, in particular a numb foot that limited her mobility. She greatly appreciated the help from her friends.
