Margaret A. "Peggy" Blahosky

June 7, 1945 — February 27, 2022

Daughter of Genevieve Willegalla and Leonard Karels. Born June 07, 1945 in Madison, MN; passed away from lung cancer on February 27, 2022. Margaret “Peggy” was a flight attendant, homemaker, and records administrator.  Preceded in death by husband, Gary, father, Leonard, and mother, Genevieve.   Survived by sons, Chad (Becky), Patrick (Amy), and daughter, Bridget Richter (Robert). Margaret's joy was being with her grandchildren, Benjamin, Keira, Damian, Finnian, Cecelia, and Henning. Also survived by sister, Jan Karels, and brothers, Jerry, Wayne, and Larry Karels.  The family wants to thank everyone for their prayers, thoughts and support during this difficult time. Margaret will be deeply missed by all who knew her for her kindness, strength, her love of reading, and her devotion to her family and friends. Memorial service 11 AM Saturday, March 5 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-LINO LAKES, 7050 Lake Dr. (Cty Hwy 23). The memorial service will be livestreamed on this site at muellerbies.com/livestreams.  Visitation from 10-11 AM.  Celebration of Life at BLUE HERON GRILL, 14725 Victor Hugo Blvd., Hugo from 12 noon to 2:30 pm Saturday. Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the American Cancer Society.
