His greatest joy was watching and supporting his grandchildren’s sports.

Survived by loving wife of 52 years, Kathleen (nee Dunbar); children, Melissa (Sean) Russell, Steven (Tiffany), and Laura (Andrew) Loge; grandchildren, Henry, Helen, Harriet, Hazel, Artemisia, Ingrid, and Louella; nephews, Mark and Mike Ryan; and many other family and friends.

Mark was born in New Jersey and moved to Minnesota to attend Macalester College where he also played soccer. He raised his family in the Como area of St. Paul and later in Lino Lakes. Mark was part owner/operator of Lane Company and retired to Big Lake.

His greatest joy was watching and supporting his grandchildren’s sports.

Memorial service 11 AM Monday, October 26 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home – Lino Lakes, 7050 Lake Dr., Lino Lakes, MN 55014. Visitation at the funeral home from 2-5 PM Sunday and from 10-11 AM Monday.
