Marlene Semling, born May 2, 1934, passed away on August 29, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Chuck, dear son, Bruce, her parents, and three brothers.

Marlene is survived by her daughter, Karen (Mike) of Bailey, Colorado, daughter-in-law, Jeanne of Willernie, four special grandchildren whom she loved so dearly, Andy (Jen), Jennie (Andrew), Will (Natalie), Jamie (Mike), and five great-grandchildren that brightened her day. Also mourning her passing are sister, Jeanne of Hudson, Wisconsin, brother-in-law, Kenny of Shoreview, sister-in-law, Jan of Fairfax, California, brother-in-law, Wayne of Hopkins, and many caring relatives and friends.

Marlene was born in Fountain City, Wisconsin and completed training as a registered nurse at Bethesda Hospital in St Paul in 1955. She married Chuck in 1956, and they lived all their lives in Roseville. She was a member of Mt Olive Lutheran Church in St Paul. Marlene was loved by many and was happiest planning and hosting gatherings with family and friends. She loved the sun and cabin on Big Marine Lake and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral service at Mt Olive Lutheran Church, 1460 Almond Ave at Pascal St, St Paul on Tuesday, September 8 at 12:00 pm with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Private interment at Roselawn Cemetery.
