Mary Farley, of St. Paul, MN, a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by 11 children, Rock (Barbara), Roxanne, Budd, Sandra (Kevin), Irene (Dominique), Bert, Dorothy, Charles (Susan), Barbara, Mary (Christopher) and Darlene (Edward). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her sister Janet Gamades.
She is preceded in death by her loving daughter Virginia; parents Pauline and Joseph Witzmann; and siblings Richard Witzmann, Elaine Donnay, and Joanne Dingmann.
Mary spent 35 years working with Saint Paul schools, empowering children with disabilities to become independent individuals. Her passion for helping others and her love for her family were defining characteristics of her life.
Mary's family fondly remembers her love for reading "Chicken Soup for the Soul" and taking her grandchildren on ice cream adventures around St. Paul. She had a love for gardening and hosting chaotic Farley holidays. There are so many memories that could never be measured.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wednesday, August 6 at St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church, 171 Elm St., Lino Lakes, MN. Visitation at the church from 10 AM - 11 AM Wednesday. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, 927 Jackson St., St. Paul, MN at 2:30PM that afternoon.
Mary's love, kindness, and generosity will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on through her family and the countless lives she touched.
