Mary Ann (Klein) Larsen, Age 99, of Circle Pines.
Survived by her children, Sandra Leonard, Lee Larsen Jr., Pamela (Timothy) Roach, and Candice (Kenneth) McHale; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Kathleen (Wally) Wickard; and sister-in-law, Judith Klein.
Preceded in death by her husband, Lee Robert Larsen; parents, Frank and Mary Klein; brothers, Frank Klein and Jude "Skip" Klein; and sisters, Grace Gamauf and Gloria Sofie.
Mary Ann loved her family and always had a smile to greet you. She loved working in her gardens and making arrangements to give to people on special occassions. She was the oldest of six children and they lovingly called her the old goat. She had her father's sense of humor and positive attitude.
Mary Ann was a welder during World War II and then worked for many manufacturing companies through the years as a solderer. She also volunteered for Food for Friends, Meals on Wheels for over 25 years, and The Food Shelf for many years.
Mary Ann walked every day always greeting people she met on her path. She was very loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at her church of 72 years, St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church, 171 Elm St., Lino Lakes, MN 55014 at 11 AM on Thursday, May 14. Visitation at the church from 10-11 AM Thursday 5/14. Interment at St. Joseph's Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Centennial Community Food Shelf.
