With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Troyer, a cherished wife, devoted mother, doting grandmother, and spectacular friend. Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 12, 2024.

Mary's life was a testament to love, laughter, and boundless generosity. She was born to spread joy and kindness wherever she went, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.

Mary was the beloved wife of Todd Troyer, with whom she shared countless adventures and cherished memories. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. Their bond was a beacon of strength and devotion, inspiring all who knew them.

As a mother of three sons, Lester Wilsey, Michael Wilsey, and Matthew Troyer, Mary poured her heart and soul into nurturing her children, instilling in them values of compassion, resilience, and integrity. Her love knew no bounds, and she took immense pride in watching her sons grow into the remarkable individuals they are today.

Mary's role as a grandmother brought her immeasurable joy and fulfillment. With ten amazing grandchildren and one great grandchild, she reveled in the laughter, mischief, and boundless energy they brought into her life. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating precious memories that will be treasured for generations to come

Passionate about fashion and travel, Mary embraced life with style and wanderlust. She had impeccable taste that was matched only by her adventurous spirit. Whether exploring exotic destinations or simply enjoying the tranquility of her lakeside home, Mary found beauty in every corner of the world.

A hostess with the mostess, Mary's home was always open to family and friends, who were welcomed with open arms and a warm smile. Her gatherings were legendary, filled with laughter, delicious food, and heartfelt conversations that would linger long into the night. She had a gift for making everyone feel loved and cherished, creating a sense of belonging that will be deeply missed.

Above all else, Mary's love for her family knew no bounds. She was a pillar of strength and support, always there to offer guidance, encouragement, and unwavering love. Her fierce devotion to her loved ones was the cornerstone of her life, and her legacy of love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Though she may be gone from our sight, Mary's spirit will forever live on in the countless lives she touched and the memories she created. May her kindness, generosity, and love continue to inspire us all as we carry her memory in our hearts. 

Mary is survived by her loving husband, devoted sons, adoring grandchildren, and a multitude of family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

A celebration of Mary's life will be held at 2pm on June 8, 2024 at the Forest Lake American Legion, 355 W. Broadway Ave., Forest Lake.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in Mary's honor.

Rest in peace, dear Mary. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
