Maxine Kelly

Maxine "Maxx" Kelly, who went home to be with the Lord at the age of 66. Maxx was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a cherished friend to many. 

Born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Maxx spent over 30 years as a community crisis worker, dedicated to helping those in need with compassion and care. Her impact on the lives of countless families in the community will be remembered for years to come. Maxx had a passion for life, and she loved spending time with her family, especially on her annual cruise trips with loved ones. An avid interior decorator, she found joy in creating beautiful spaces that reflected her creativity and heart. Christmas was her favorite holiday, as it embodied her generous spirit—she loved gift-giving and spreading joy to everyone around her. 

Maxx is survived by her loving daughters Lucaina Hopkins, Tennelle Kelly, Nashika Kelly, and Breianna Kelly, along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family who will miss her deeply. 

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Maxx’s life on Saturday, September 21st, 2024, at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home, 2130 Dale Street North, Roseville, MN 55113. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 3:00 PM. 

Maxx will forever be remembered for her kindness, her vibrant spirit, and the love she showed to everyone around her.
