She was preceded in death by parents, Dewayne & Margaret Pierce. She is survived by husband, Brian Flaherty; daughters, Makenna & Bridget; brothers, Brian (Diana) Pierce & Shawn (Stephanie) Pierce; parents-in-law, Tom & Faye Flaherty; sister-in-law, Colleen (Carlos) Flaherty Reyes; brother-in-law, Douglas (Trina) Flaherty; best friend, Shauna Block; and many loving nieces, nephews, & friends. Michelle fought a hard and courageous battle with colon cancer. Until the end, she stayed true to her mantra: "I'm not going down without a fight". Funeral service 11 AM Saturday, January 21 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME- LINO LAKES, 7050 Lake Drive (Co Hwy 23). Visitation from from 10-11 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society for colon cancer research are suggested.
