Nancy Lee Fobaire, age 79, passed away peacefully on the 29th of January 2026. Born on January 6th, 1947, in St. Paul, MN, Nancy worked as a nursing home receptionist and spent her life in Shoreview, married for 61 years, raising a family, and later spoiling all of her grandchildren. She had the honor of seeing her family grow with the addition of five great-grandchildren and was able to be an integral part of their lives.
Some of her happiest moments in life were being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She made many happy memories traveling with her siblings all over the country to Washington D.C., the Black Hills, Canada, and Colorado, and also outside the country to Jamaica and on a cruise throughout the Caribbean with her husband, Jack. The family has some of their happiest memories of Nancy up at the cabin, who resided in the so-called "Starburst Cabin", always providing the grandchildren, nieces, and nephews with all the candy they could want. She also traveled to Veracruz, Mexico, for a family wedding (Mariana and Felipe).
Her siblings remember their Friday night dinner club outings and fish fry or pizza pubs very fondly, and camping. The most memorable times were at Telemark resort, which the entire family remembers, especially the grandchildren, who were always gifted with rolls of quarters to play at the arcade and all the water toys they could want. Each grandchild had a very special relationship with her, as she became an important part of their lives.
A sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Nancy showed great resilience in the last years of her life. She remained an Elvis fan until the end. She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Delores Kelly. She is survived by her husband, Jack; children, Jack and Tammy; siblings Patti, Linda, Sue, and Mike; grandchildren, Josh, Luke, Cody, Tabitha, Derek, Taylor, Sophia; and great-grandchildren, Jayce, Aiden, Breezy, Hadley, and Harlow.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, with a visitation one hour prior at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home, 2130 N Dale St., Roseville, MN.
We will all miss you, but always keep us in our hearts.
