Patricia Reopelle, age 73, of St. Paul, MN, passed away peacefully in her home on June 27, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on April 5, 1952, to Joe and Judy Oberg, Patricia lived a life defined by strength, courage, compassion, and an unwavering dedication to her family. On December 12, 1970, she married the love of her life, Andrew Reopelle. Together, they raised six children and shared more than five decades of commitment, perseverance, and unconditional love.

Patricia spent 20 years working as a unit clerk at a hospital in Fargo, ND, while at the same time raising her children with care and determination. Her love of learning and personal growth led her to return to school later in life, and she proudly earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, on June 13, 2000.

Following her graduation, Patricia and her family relocated from Moorhead to the Twin Cities, where she began a second career as a medical insurance underwriter. Her sharp mind, love of knowledge, and the value for accuracy and detail in her work, made her a valued colleague and trusted professional.

On June 21, 2025, Patricia was brought into the Church and received the sacraments of Baptism in Christ, Confirmation, Holy Communion with our Lord, and the Anointing of the Sick. She and her husband had already received the Sacrament of Holy Marriage, a bond that grounded their life together in love and grace.

She had a tender heart for animals, especially cats, and found joy in books, quiet moments, and time spent with her family. She will be remembered for her strength, wisdom, and the dedication to her family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Damien Reopelle; her sister, Evelyn Brodeur; and her parents, Joe and Judy Oberg.


She is survived by her beloved husband, Andrew Reopelle; daughters, Tanya Reopelle, Tracy Overland, and Tara Reopelle; sons, Destry (Beth) Reopelle and Danté (Fatima) Reopelle; grandchildren, Devin, Jacob, Logan, Camille, and Beati; and her sister, Dianne Heroux. 


Patricia’s life was a testament to faith, resilience, and the enduring power of love. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 1414 N. Dale St.- time and date are pending.
