Patrick Cokley

Age 91 of Maplewood, MN, passed into the arms of our Lord on October 15, 2022, surrounded by his family after a long illness with bladder cancer.  Pat was married to Patricia for 65 years. They have 4 children, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.  Pat & Pat lived & traveled many places under the missile program and eventually returned to St. Paul, where Pat worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer.  Pat's family was everything to him & he loved having them near him.  He especially loved teaching them how to pick strawberries and teasing them about picking strawberries even in the wintertime somewhere. Pat was preceded in death by parents, George & Loretta Cokley; brothers, Leonard (Marie), Jerry (Mary Ellen), Don (Jan); sister, Betty Lou; and grandson, Casey. Survived by wife, Patricia "Pat"; children, Mary Pat (Fred) Myre, Julianne (Todd) Backer, Karen (Miguel) Garcia, and Tom; grandchildren, Matthew, Luke, Laura & Abby, Brandon & Chelsea, Kiana & Jace, Emma & Olivia; great-grandchildren, Sadie & Grace, Jonathan & Naomi; brothers, Jim (Rosie), Dennis (Peggy); sister, Genevieve; and Marge Cokley.  A private Mass of Christian burial will be held at Church of St. Jerome. Private interment will follow at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Church of St. Jerome.
