Peter Steineck, age 76, passed away on July 17, 2026. He was born on December 29, 1949, in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Peter became a licensed psychologist in 1989 and spent his career helping others through his compassionate work in mental health. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, and acting. He cherished spending time on Minnesota’s North Shore, where he found peace along the shores of Lake Superior.

Peter is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Melody Domanico; his daughters, Brina Weber and Jena Steineck; his brother, Darryl Steineck; and his five beloved grandchildren: Jax, Irelynn, Svea, Wren, and Ida.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Margaret Steineck, and his brothers, Craig, David, and Mark Steineck.

Peter will be remembered for his kindness, his dedication to helping others, his love of music, the joy he found on the golf course, his deep appreciation for Minnesota’s North Shore, his love of cats, and his enjoyment of the perfect cup of coffee with an old-fashioned donut. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, August 15 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home, 2130 Dale St. N., Roseville. Visitation prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm Saturday.
