Peter Thalhuber

Age 62.​Born in Saint Paul, Minnesota on November 15, 1959 and passed away on July 16, 2022 after a short and courageous battle with stage 4 bladder cancer.​Preceded in death by parents, Donald and Rosemarie Thalhuber; and brother-in-law, Bruce Weisz.​Survived by daughter, Hannah Thalhuber; sister, Lisanne Weisz; brother Kevin (Sheila) Thalhuber; nephew, Nathan (fiancée Marissa Senstad) Thalhuber; niece, Laura Thalhuber; aunts; uncles; and lots of cousins.​Peter attended Maternity of Mary Grade School, St. Bernard's High School, and was a graduate of St. Paul Technical College.​He was a dedicated and hardworking employee of four businesses. His first job in high school was at Embers Restaurant on Snelling Avenue working alongside his dad and brother. After graduating from technical college, he took a job with Trudeau & Johnson working in appliance repair and sales for 19 years. He then moved on to Pyramid Trim Products where he spent 22 years as a customer service representative. Most recently, he was a member of the maintenance staff at The Estates at Roseville nursing home.​Peter was a devoted father to Hannah and enthusiastically cheered her on at all her swim, gymnastics, track, and cross-country meets.  Peter enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and his dog, Joker. He also enjoyed volunteering for church activities, reading about classic cars, going to auto shows, walking his neighborhood, and sitting in the sunshine singing along to 50's and 60's tunes.​He was a kind and gentle man of deep faith who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.​Memorials preferred to the family for Hannah's College fund.​Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Thursday, July 28 at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 1414 Dale Street North, Saint Paul. Visitation from 9:00 - 10:00 AM Thursday at the church.  Interment Calvary Cemetery near his parents and grandparents.
