Phyllis S. Scheerer

Age 88, of St. Paul, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2024. 

Preceded in death by first husband, John Wasiluk; second husband, Walter Scheerer; parents, Louis & Phyllis Raehsler; brother, John Raehsler; half-sister, Bonnie Torning; and half-brother, Dick Grace.

Survived by children, Bob (Suzanne) Wasiluk, Rick (Jane) Wasiluk, Lynn (Rich) Reed; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. 

At Mounds View High School, Phyllis took up acting. She enjoyed playing the role of Annie Oakley in the play “Annie Get Your Gun”. 

After raising her children, Phyllis became a librarian’s assistant at Snail Lake Elementary. She also enjoyed teaching children to read through the use of puppets while reading books. 

Phyllis also enjoyed camping with her husband, Wally, while traveling the U.S. 

Graveside service 2:00 pm Friday, January 10 at Roselawn Cemetery, 803 W. Larpenteur Ave., Roseville. (Please assemble inside main entrance to the cemetery)
