Survived by his wife, Celia; son, Dionicio Garcia; daughters, Margarita (Doug) Wilson, Caridad (Jeff) Nelson, Maria Garcia and Celia (Steven) Hall; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Rubi Abreus; and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral service 11 AM Saturday, March 17 at PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1744 Walnut St., Lauderdale. Interment Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation 10-11 AM Saturday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Marian Center School and Services, 15701 NW 37th Ave. Miami Gardens, FL 33054.
