Richard John Coverdale

Age 92, of Melbourne, FL.  

Preceded in death by his parents, George & Helen Coverdale; brother, Gordon Coverdale; and grandson, Skyler Windwood.

Survived by his partner, Joan Coverdale; children, Jeff Coverdale, Cherry Frechette, Robin Coverdale and Penny Ososki; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.  

He was born in St. Paul, MN. He attended Washington High School, and Macalester College for one year. After being a plumber in the family business for two decades he started a very successful contracting business.  

He was also a Navy man, serving two years on a destroyer in the Pacific. He eventually became a snowbird, spending the winters in Florida. He took up golf, tennis and bridge with a passion.

He will be remembered as a generous loving man.  

There will be a private service on November 12, 2021 at Roselawn Cemetery.
