Richard Raymond Walker

Age 77, of Hugo. Passed away on May 7, 2022.  Preceded in death by parents, Delos & Vivian Walker; father & mother-in-law, Darwin & Arlyne Olson; & brother-in-law Jack Colvard.  Survived by his wife of 56 years, Dawn; brother John (Betty); sister-in-law Darla Colvard; daughter, Cynthia Farrell; sons, Steven (Penny) & Scott (Lori); grandchildren, Amanda Farrell, Dustin Farrell, Kyle, Shae, Tyler, Paige & Grace; many nieces & nephews; extended family Mike, Tami & Dakota Willett. Rich grew up on the east side of St. Paul and was a graduate of Harding High School.  He retired in 2010 after a 41 year career with the State of Minnesota; one year with the Department of Natural Resources and 40 years with the Department of Transportation.  Rich enjoyed spending time with family at the lake.  He loved music, and he loved to do karaoke.  He would often reminisce with friends and family about his childhood memories, his time playing with the Mystics, and his 57 Chevy.  He will be remembered for his smile, his sense of humor, and especially for his countless stories! Please join us for a Celebration of Life from 3-7 PM Wednesday, May 25 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home - Lino Lakes, 7050 Lake Dr. (County Hwy 23).
