Robert “Bob” LaBarre passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and the many people whose lives he touched.
Bob was a lifelong outdoorsman who found great joy in being outside and exploring the world around him. He was an avid fisherman and passionate scuba diver, always drawn to the water and the adventures it offered. Whether fishing, diving, or simply enjoying the outdoors, Bob appreciated the beauty of nature and the experiences that came with it.
Bob is survived by his sister, Marilyn; his six stepchildren, Sue Bath, Shari (James) Nepper, Cindy (Daniel) Hoffman, Ronald (Janet) Hammer, Julie Lindberg, and Joseph (Carolynn) Hammer; as well as multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anita (Struck) LaBarre; his parents, Eugene and Edna Mae (Morisson) LaBarre; his sister, Donna Brown; and his brother, Gerald.
He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the many memories he created throughout his life. His family and friends will forever cherish the time they shared with him and the stories that will keep his memory alive.
A funeral service for Bob will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 2 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home - Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd B. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10-11 AM Wednesday. Interment will follow the service at Clover Cemetery in Hinckley, MN.
