Robert Zaspel, a devoted husband, father, and man of unwavering faith, passed away May 1, 2025. He was a proud Marine, embodying discipline, honor, and commitment in every aspect of his life.
For 51 beautiful years, he shared his life with his beloved wife, Theresa, the center of his world. Their love was steadfast and enduring; a true partnership built on devotion and deep affection. He was a dedicated father to his children, Daniel and Tamara, always ensuring his family was cared for and supported.
A man of quiet strength, he found solace and camaraderie in his faith, remaining close to his church community. He also enjoyed the simple joys of bowling and softball, sharing moments of friendship and competition with those around him.
His passion for craftsmanship was unmatched, as he spent countless hours building street rods and steam locomotives, pouring his creativity and skill into every detail. Attending street rod events was a cherished tradition, bringing him together with lifelong friends who shared his enthusiasm for the art of engineering and design.
Now reunited with his beloved Theresa in heaven, his legacy of love, dedication, and craftsmanship lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
He is preceded in death by wife, Theresa; and sister, Beverly Menken.
Survived by children, Tammy (Scott) Hyland & Dan Zaspel (Cheryl McKenna); grandchildren, Grant, Zachary, Ayden, Jamison; and sister, Elaine Lloyd.
A visitation to celebrate Bob's life will be held from 3:00 - 6:00 pm Saturday, May 31 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home (Roseville), 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd. B.
