Robert E. Ethier

WWII Navy Veteran​Age 93, of St. Paul​Bob died peacefully surrounded by the love of his children and grandchildren on June 25, 2017. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Adele; and brothers, Paul, George and Eugene. Survived by children, Mary (Rob) Engstrom, Mike (Carol), Dave (Renee) and Steve; and grandchildren, Marcus, David and Maria Engstrom, Christopher and Jonathan Ethier. Also survived by his brothers, Len, Tom and Jerry (Carolyn). Special thanks to the staff of the Episcopal Homes-The Gardens for 2 years of compassionate care, especially Dad’s favorite shahbaz, Dora and RN Joy. Also a huge thank you to the HealthEast Hospice staff, whose every aspect of care was superior. They did everything imaginable for Dad and our family. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to HealthEast Hospice or the Episcopal Homes The Gardens. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Friday, July 7 at ST. ROSE OF LIMA CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2048 N. Hamline Ave., Roseville. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visitation at the church from 9-10 AM Friday. We will miss you greatly Dad, but now you and Mom are together again in heaven.
