Age 81, of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2020.
Preceded in death by parents, Dr. Harold & Dagmar (née Larsen) Swanson.
Survived by wife, Nancy (née Lauve); children, Mark (Julie) & Emily (Brendan Thompson); 5 grandchildren; and siblings, Elaine (William) Mitchell & Roger (Joan) Swanson.
Bob was a 40y-ear employee of MnDOT where he was a civil engineer and director of railroads & waterways.
Memorial Service 2:00 PM Saturday, February 1, 2020 at University Lutheran Church of Hope, 601 13th Avenue S.E., Minneapolis. Visitation at the church from 1:00 - 2:00 PM Saturday 2/1.
Private interment Lakewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Parkinson's Foundation.
