Roland "Irv" Renner

​Passed away October 2, 2018 following a 4 year dementia decline.  Preceded in death by parents, Roland and Marjorie Renner.  Survived by wife, Dona of 32 years; step-son, Troy (Lynnde) LaDoux; grandchildren, Shula, Jubilee, Salome and Simeon; brothers, William (Marilyn) Renner, Paul (Sandy) Renner and Mark (Jan) Renner.  Irv was born in Stockton, CA. At the age of 4 the family moved to Tanzania, Africa (Singida). Irv graduated from Rift Valley Academy in Kenya and returned to California for education at Northrup University as a mechanical engineer. Upon his return to Minnesota, repairing airplanes at Tailwinds Flying Club occupied 42 years of spare time along with weekend farming in Brainerd for 15 years.  Funeral service 11 AM Thursday, October 11 at NORTH HEIGHTS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2701 N. Rice St., Roseville.  Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation at the church Thursday from 10 – 11 AM.
