Ronald Lee Westad

Age 66, passed away peacefully at home on December 7 with family by his side.

Ron is preceded in death by his father, Martin Westad, and his mother, Donna Mathe.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Julie; daughters Carly (John) and Krysten (Thomas); and granddaughter, Elise.

Ron grew up in St. Paul and attended Mechanic Arts then St. Paul Central High School. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Okinawa from 1978 to 1981. He traveled throughout the Pacific during his time in the service. When he returned home, he worked for the United States Postal Service for 39 years, retiring in 2023.

Memorial visitation 4:00 - 7:00 pm Wednesday, December 17 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home (Roseville), 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd. B.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
