Rosemary Agnes Beltz of Lino Lakes, formerly of St. Paul and Isle, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025.

Rosemary was born on July 17, 1941 to Walter Sr. and Agnes (Lesch) Hagberg, in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Also known as “Rose,” she attended Saint Francis de Sales grade school and graduated from Monroe High School in 1959.

On May 6, 1961, Rosemary married Warren Elwyn Beltz. After a short time residing in the West 7th Street area, they made their home on the East Side of St. Paul where they lived for 45 years. She raised their five sons in this loving home. She loved to host family holidays along with family traditions of pumpkin carving and Easter egg dying.

Throughout the years, Rosemary enjoyed spending family weekends at the Lake Mille Lacs cabin and her brother Wally’s lake home in Pine City, where her activities included snowmobiling, fishing both summer and winter, boating, and walking the beach. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed many years bowling in leagues at Maplewood Bowl. She worked at Sears in Maplewood Mall for close to 20 years after her sons were grown. In 2007, Rose and Warren and moved to their Mille Lacs cabin and started their retirement home. She loved to play cribbage, meat raffles, and bingo with friends in the area. She was involved with the Red Hat Society and Bible Study. In 2022 she moved to Lino Lakes.

Rosemary is survived by sons, Warren (Debbie) Beltz, Brian Beltz, Marc (Lauri) Beltz, Michael (Michelle) Beltz, and Matt (Kelly) Beltz; grandchildren, Alexander (Kelly), Nicholas (Kjirsten), Joseph (Kathleen), Jennifer, Kimberly (Noah), Kacey (Kelsey), and Laralye; and great-grandchildren, Nolan, Baylor, Bennett, and Emerson.

She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Agnes; her husband of 52 years, Warren E. Beltz; brother and sister-in-law, Wally and Kathleen Hagberg; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Beltz; and grandchildren Kevin Beltz and Caleigh Beltz.

Funeral service 11 AM Monday, November 3 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Lino Lakes, 7050 Lake Dr., Lino Lakes, MN 55014. Visitation from 10-11 AM Monday. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.
