Sharon A. Jacobson

Sharon A. Jacobson (Poechmann) (nee Merth) age 80, died peacefully at home with family on January 1, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Marion (Murphy) Merth; along with many pets, relatives, and friends.

Sharon grew up on the East Side of St. Paul and graduated from Johnson High School. As a divorced parent, through a government program she attended secretarial school which led to her career at 3M, retiring after 32 years as an Executive Assistant.

Spending time Up North fishing, snowmobiling, feeding the hummingbirds, and spending time with family and friends brought her joy.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 45 years, Allan “Ted” Jacobson; daughters, Debra (Dean) Hoffrogge and Sheila Poechmann; stepsons, Michael (Kelly) Jacobson and Rick (Rachel) Jacobson; stepdaughter, Amy Johnson; grandchildren, Ryan Hoffrogge, Laura Hoffrogge, Eric Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Michaela Carlson, Matthew (Lindsey) Jacobson, and Alex (Molly) Jacobson; and great-grandchildren, Aiden Johnson, Kolie Rightman, Lance Rightman, Madisyn Johnson, Aria Wschola, and Noah Jacobson.

A Celebration of Life for Sharon will be held from 4-7 PM Friday, April 25, 2025 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home - Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd B.
