For Sharon, it was never about what they were doing, but rather who she was with and the memories they were making together.

Sharon Lee Koch, of Saint Paul, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026, at the age of 61. She was born on September 24, 1964, in Fridley, Minnesota, to Severyn and Valentina Helmin.

Sharon found her greatest happiness in being surrounded by the people she loved. Some of her favorite times were spent at the cabin, on family trips, around the dinner table, at the fair, celebrating holidays, or playing cribbage, golf and bowling. For Sharon, it was never about what they were doing, but rather who she was with and the memories they were making together.

She also found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved getting lost in a good mystery book, tending to her garden, and soaking up a warm, sunny day. Whether gathered with family and friends or enjoying a quiet moment to herself, Sharon knew how to appreciate the little things that made life special.

Sharon leaves behind a lifetime of love in her husband, Brian; her children, Travis (Kandice), Samantha (Dan), and Jessica; and her beloved grandchildren, Eleanor, Connor, and Rowan. She is also survived by her siblings, Lynda (Jim), Jeff (Carole), and Dawn (Ken).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Severyn and Valentina Helmin, and her brother, Dale Helmin.

Sharon will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, her love of family, and the countless memories she created with those closest to her. Her absence will be felt in the gatherings, traditions, and everyday moments that we shared with her.

A celebration of life will be held in the Wedell room at the Shoreview Community Center, 4580 Victoria St N, Shoreview, MN on Saturday, September 26 from 2:00 - 600 pm..

In memory of her vibrant personality, we request that loved ones wear bright colors.
