Preceded in death by parents, August and Martha (nee Fiss) Schauer; husband, Roger C.; daughter, Carol Jones; brother, Marvin (Ursula) Schauer; sister, Arlene (Ray) Biedermann. Survived by her daughter, Joan (John) Holl; son, Scott (Valerie); grandchildren, Brian Calvert, Jennifer (William) Pim, Joseph (Nicole) Holl, Jacob (Jackie) Holl, Aaron and Tony Sorvari; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Benjamin, Ryan and Andrew Pim, and Avery Holl; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service 11:00 AM Friday, January 19 at ST. TIMOTHY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1465 N. Victoria St., St. Paul. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation AT THE CHURCH 10-11 AM Friday. Shirley loved her family and friends. She will be missed. Memorials preferred to St. Timothy Lutheran Church.
