Arthur “Skip” Hassel
March 31, 1946 — November 1, 2019
Born March 31st, 1946; passed away peacefully in his home on November 1, 2019, at the age of 73.
Preceded in death by parents, brother Gus, sister June, sister-in-law Donna, father-in-law Herb and brother-in-law Don.
Survived by loving wife of 45 years, Pat, children Jeff and Laura (Brian) Plantenberg; grandchildren, Aiden Francis and Thomas Arthur; mother-in-law Mary Ann, siblings Pete, Janet (Jerry), and Len (Mary Jo); many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Skip was a member of Moose Lodge 963 in Maplewood and American Legion. Prior to retirement, Skip worked at BNSF for 42 years; he also enjoyed the annual fantasy football leagues. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral service 11:00 AM Thursday, November 7 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale Street at County Road B. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 – 11 AM.
Memorials preferred.
