Age 71, of St. Paul; passed away peacefully on October 8, 2026.

Preceded in death by father, Walter, and mother, Audrey.

Survived by children, Melissa (Erik) Helberg, Brian (Sarah), and Zach (Nancy); grandchildren, Hayley, Wyatt, Stella, Jacob, Brady, and Savannah; partner of many years, Pam Fitch; siblings, Mike (Bobbie), Rick, Angie Koeck, Benny, Gina (Ken) Rakotz, Nick (Michelle), Stan (Kim), and Josie (Mike) Mell; many nieces and nephews; and all his many, many friends.

Service arrangements are pending.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of Regions Hospital ICU for their care of Steve.
