Age 65, of Little Canada, passed away on August 29, 2025.

Steve was a proud member of IBEW Local 23 and known to his friends and family as Steve or “Fido”.

Born September 06, 1959, resident of Little Canada, died on August 29, while recovering from a fall. Preceded in death by father Arnold Feidt and father-in-law Dennis Miller. Survived by loving wife Bonnie (Miller); son Matthew; daughter Melissa (Josh) Jereczek; stepdaughters Tera (Tony) Sobaskie; Katey (Ryan) Schultz; grandchildren Liam, Finley, Greyson, and Soleil; mother Marian; mother-in-law Dorothy Miller; brother Rick (Lenne); along with many loving cousins and friends.

Steve attended 916 Vo-Tech chef training and loved to cook. Steve then changed careers and spent the next 40 years working at the Allen S. King plant in Bayport, Minnesota, working his way up from a Coal and Ash Handler by Barge (Monkey) to Standing Foreman of the Plant where he held a Chief A Supercritical Boilers license from the department of Labor and Industry.

Steve was one of the last Coal and Ash Handlers and then excelled into Lead Control Room Operator. “Steve was considered to have been the best Chief of Control Room Operations and Maintenance. Everyone at the plant loved ‘Fido University’ – a legend at the plant. ” (Matt K. – retired).

After retirement, Steve continued to pursue his love of life – spending time with his kids, being up north with Bonnie, enjoying time with all of his friends and family, trips on his Harley, going to the State Fair, winter vacations in Florida, and looking after his 4 grandkids – which were his pride and joy. Steve’s smile, wisdom, and kind spirit will be missed.

Bonnie and Steve were true soul mates; she completed him. “Love you thru infinity Babe!!” – Steve told Bonnie from his hospital bed.
