Tamara Mae Brown

December 16, 1982 — August 26, 2022

Today we honor the life of, and mourn the loss of, our beloved Tamara Mae Brown who passed away accidentally on August 26th, 2022 at the age of 39. Tami suffered from addiction and depression and fought so very hard to stay alive. She was working toward improving herself and taking control of her life.Tami was preceded in death by her dad, Bob (Robert M.) Brown, her grandparents Ray and Beverly Jacobson, her grandfather Robert Brown, her uncles Steve Jacobson, Jerry Jacobson, and aunts Tamara Jacobson, Jeanie Van Hale and Connie Clements. She is survived by her loving & supportive mom, Tracey Brown, brothers Mike (Abby), Dan, niece Lindsey, her best friend and fiancé Jeff Anderson, her sweetheart Bebe (her dog), and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.Tami was born on December 16th, 1982, in St Paul. She graduated from Central High School, then earned her AA degree from Minnesota School of Business. She worked at Branch Manufacturing where she met the love of her life, Jeff. Then, following family tradition, Tami worked at the United States Postal Service as a Clerk for ten years. After that, she went to Apostolic Publications.Tami inherited the rare gift of being able to play music by ear from her dad, Bob. She could listen to a song and then play it on the piano. She played some of the songs her dad used to play, like ‘House of the Rising Sun.’Her favorite place in the whole world was a fishing hole on the Sunrise River, south of North Branch. She loved to go fishing there with her fiancé, Jeff. She always looked forward to going up north camping and spending time with him.She took after her Grandma Jacobson and always drove a trusted Buick. Tami made dreamcatchers and loved her mom’s bread pudding. Tami was a genuine sweetheart with such a kind loving heart. She had a fierce and genuine love for all animals and hated to see any animal mistreated. You were taken from us far too soon, Tami. We miss and love you so much!Memorial service 11:00 AM Thursday, September 8 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St at County Rd B.  Visitation from 10-11 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
