Loving Husband, Father, and Brother
Todd found peace in Jesus' arms on April 11th, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Gloria.
Todd is survived by his beloved wife of twenty years, Jennifer; his children, Thor and Greta; sisters, Amber Gimble and Joy (David) Zesiger; half-sister, Stephanie Dillon; and many other relatives and close friends.
Todd was born in St. Paul, MN. He grew up in the Como neighborhood and attended Como High school until he transferred and graduated from Roseville Area High School in 1991.
He attended the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in California and went into business with his mother, Gloria Gimble. He delivered jewelry from his mother’s house before they opened their shop, Gold’n Treasures on Grand Avenue in 1992. Todd soon developed a reputation of warmth and caring, and welcomed everyone with a huge smile and a hug. It wasn’t about the sale, it was always about serving people. Todd had a genuine impact and influence in the local community largely due to his excellent customer service that was truly unmatched.
His life was filled with his love for adventure and fun. He enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, road biking, mountain biking, and skydiving. More recently, he loved driving the jet ski for friends and family at the cabin, and taking people for a pontoon ride on White Bear Lake. His playful sense of humor was a part of his charm that made time spent with him so enjoyable.
Cooking and preparing food was a passion of Todd’s. Whether he was in the kitchen preparing meals or offering you an espresso, Todd took care of us all with his delicious creations. Todd loved pickles and pickle juice as well as peppers… the spicier the better. His collection of cookbooks is more than impressive, and inspired many debates about where to store or display them.
One thing Todd enjoyed the most was talking about his family. He beamed with pride as he shared stories of his beautiful wife, Jen, Greta and her skating, and Thor and his hockey adventures. The love that Todd had for his family was palpable. He loved Jen, Thor, and Greta with all his heart and showered them with love. Todd and Jen instilled their faith and love of Jesus to their children, and it was important to Todd to encourage them in their own faith journey.
Todd's impact on people was truly remarkable. His love of family and friends was evident, and his attentiveness made them feel like they were loved and valued. Everyone felt they had a special place in Todd’s heart because they truly did. He is loved by so many and will be dearly missed.
