Walter E. Widerski

Walter Eugene Widerski, age 87 of St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025 at Atlas Villas Memory Care. 

He is preceded in death by his life partner, Mary L. Liljedahl; parents, Walter and Johanna Widerski; sisters, Georgia Widerski and Joanne Blomgren; brother, David Widerski; and nephew, Brian Jachymowski. 

He is survived by his sister, Sue Jachymowski (Tom); nieces, Laurie Jachymowski, Joanna Siebenaler, Patricia Bacigalupo; and nephew, Theodore Blomgren, as well as the children of Mary Liljedahl and extended family and friends. 

Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the Church of St. Agnes, 548 Lafond Avenue, St. Paul, MN. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 10:00 AM at the church. 

Private interment at Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul.
