It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of William Peter Jasper, affectionately known as Bill.

Born on January 11th, 1974, Billy was a proud son of Pete and Jackie Jasper in Roseville, Minnesota. Growing up in a lively household alongside his siblings, Craig, Pam, and Laurie, he was instantly recognizable by his bright white-blonde hair, mischievous smile, and dimples. He was a constant burst of energy and naturally popular among the neighborhood kids. From the time he was just 7 years old, he loved heading down to Lake Josephine to spend his days fishing.

He attended Roseville High School, where he was popular among his fellow students. He truly enjoyed his time playing hockey and varsity gymnastics, and he remained a lifelong, devoted fan of Minnesota sports.

After graduating with the Class of 1992, Billy felt a calling to serve his country. In 1993, he stepped away from the familiar home and Minnesota winters to join the U.S. Navy. He honorably served on the USS Vicksburg (CG-69) from 1993 to 1997, a journey that would take him across the globe and create many lifelong memories.

In 2002, he married the love of his life, Theresa who stood by his side for 23 years. Together they raised two amazing daughters, Sydney and Audrey. He was outnumbered by the girls in the house that was full of laughter, singing, dancing, crafts, and all girly things he grew to love. He spoiled the girls with gourmet meals every day; friends and family had the luxury of sharing these meals and creating ever-lasting memories over the dinner table. He was his daughters' biggest fan and most supportive audience member as he watched them through joyful tears in everything they did—especially on stage.

In 2013, Bill began working at IST, where he proudly built his career and formed many strong relationships, some of which became like family to him. He officially joined IST on October 14, 2013, and through his hard work and dedication was promoted to National Director of Operations on December 27, 2014 which relocated him and his family to Atlanta, Georgia. Later, he advanced to Senior National Director of Operations on September 12, 2020. Bill took great pride in his work, his leadership, and the relationships he built throughout his career.

Bill loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, and hiking. More than anything, he loved watching his daughters, Sydney and Audrey, grow and succeed in all they did. His pride in them was evident to everyone who knew him.

Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Jackie Jasper.

He is survived by Theresa Jasper, and their two daughters, Sydney Jasper and Audrey Jasper; his father, Pete Jasper and special friend Claudia Doran; siblings, Craig (Harriette) Jasper, Laurie Jasper, and Pam Jasper (Jake); nieces and nephews, Cole Jasper, Ella (Mark) Barto, Kylie (Josh) Lindquist, Zoe Hawthorne, Nico Grayson, Randy Mcaleese, Chaz Mcaleese, Nicholas Flesland, Jordan (Camille) Flesland, Brady Foss, Andrew Foss, and Evan (Elaine) Foss.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home, 2130 N. Dale Street, Roseville, MN 55113.

Visitation will continue Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Odilia Catholic Church, 3495 Victoria Street North, Shoreview, MN. A luncheon will follow Mass.

Interment will be held Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450.

Bill’s life was a tapestry woven with love, adventure, and kindness. Through the memories he leaves behind, we find comfort and inspiration as he taught us to embrace every moment with courage and joy.

Though his presence is deeply missed, Bill’s spirit will forever remain beside us, guiding us gently forward. May we honor his memory by cherishing the simple beauties of life just as he did. Rest in peace, dear Bill. You will never be forgotten.
