Age 89, of St. Paul, passed away on October 28, 2024.
Preceded in death by parents, William & Esther (McEvoy) Schanks, and brother, Mike Schanks.
Survived by wife, Carol; children, Theresa (Joe) Baralatei, Kat (Joe) Balsimo, William (Sharon) Schanks; grandchildren, Sarah, Christian, Noelle, Joe, Sam, Kharmia, Christopher; great grandchildren, Haylee, Lily, Vita; and many relatives & friends.
Bill was a renowned chef, loved all things aviation and enjoyed his time spent in Hawaii.
Memorial visitation 4:00 - 7:00 PM Monday, November 4 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home (Roseville), 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd. B.
Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
