Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Bunch, 69, passed away on October 31, 2026, at Red Cedar Canyon Memory Care in Hudson, Wisconsin.
Cindy was born on April 9, 1957, in Roseville, Minnesota, and graduated from high school there. She raised her sons in Oakdale, Minnesota, and later moved to Hudson to be closer to her boys and grandchildren.
Cindy’s greatest joy in life was being a mother. She adored her sons, Rob and Sean, and was their biggest cheerleader, never missing their events as they grew up. She was incredibly proud to become a grandma to John and Frances Bunch and never missed a chance to brag about her family. Whenever she saw or spoke with them, she was grinning from ear to ear. Her family brought her so much happiness, and she treasured every moment she shared with them.
Kind and sweet, Cindy never spoke negatively and saw beauty in everything. Her beautiful smile and contagious laugh brightened the day, and she was always ready with a kind hello or a compliment. She often said, “This is just heavenly,” and, looking at pictures of her family, “Every picture of her family could be in a magazine.”
Later in life, Cindy worked as a greeter at Sam’s Club in Maplewood, Minnesota. She was often the first person people saw when they arrived and the last person they saw when they left, welcoming them with a smile and a kind hello or goodbye.
Cindy loved the Minnesota State Fair and went several times each year. She always made sure to stop by Tom Thumb Mini Donuts and visit KARE 11 to catch a live newscast. She loved chocolate and anything sweet, and always saved room for dessert, with a Pepsi to wash it all down.
She is survived by her sons, Rob and Sean; Rob’s wife, Angie; Sean’s fiancée, Melissa, and Melissa’s children, Hannah, Grace, and Lilly; her grandchildren, John and Frances; her brother, Bill Hyden (Dinah); her sister, Diane Hyden; her sister-in-law, Deb Hyden; her nephews, Conner, Nathan, Matt, and Sam Hyden; and her niece, Jessica Delaske.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Hyden; her mother, Trudy Hyden; her brother, Michael Hyden; and her uncle, Tom Gerlach.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the nursing staff at Red Cedar Canyon Memory Care for the loving care they gave Cindy. Their kindness meant so much to her family, who always left visits knowing Cindy was in wonderful hands.
Cindy will be remembered for her kind heart, beautiful smile, contagious laugh, and the unconditional love she had for her family. She had a special way of making everyone feel welcome, and her love and light will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Cindy will be greatly missed by her family, who are heartbroken by her loss. They find comfort in knowing she is at peace and imagining her watching over them now as their guardian angel in heaven.
