Gerald “Jerry” Donald Kasa, age 84, of Roseville, Minnesota, passed away on November 8, 2025.
Born May 7, 1941, in Northfield, Minnesota, where he grew up before eventually relocating to the Twin Cities. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
A hardworking and dedicated plumber by trade, Jerry was known for his incredible work ethic and his willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was the kind of person who could fix just about anything and was happiest when helping others.
Outside of work, Jerry loved camping and spending time on the water. He rarely missed a Minnesota sports game and especially enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams alongside his family. Above all, he treasured time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was deeply involved in their lives — whether it was attending their games, sharing a laugh, or offering his signature words of wisdom.
Jerry will be remembered for his kind heart, stubborn streak, and unwavering devotion to family. His love for his pets was another reflection of his gentle spirit. His faith was important to him and guided him throughout his life.
He is survived by his children, Craig (Julie) and family, Kris (Mark) and family, Jim (Jenny) and family and stepchildren, Leo and Sheila.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Helen, his brother Roger, his beloved wife, Joan, and stepson, Bob.
A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St. @ County Rd B. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering and honoring a life well lived.
Jerry will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
